I bought these steps because i injured my knee last summer and find standing on a chair too much pressure.Taking smaller steps up is safer and not painful.Ive found that keeping theses folded and slipped into a corner upstairs alot more convenient than getting a chair from downstairs as well.At 5' 2" i constantly need to get help to get items from the top of the wardrobe or to take curtains down, with these i can just open them up,do what needs doing and remain independant.I should think these would be ideal for someone elderly and infirm. The steps are very strong and sturdy too as im no lightweight!

These are the best pair of step ladders I have ever bought. The steps are very wide giving the feeling of complete safety. They are plenty high enough to reach all my top cupboards in the kitchen and all the windows in my house. When you first step onto them, they move a fraction to level themselves and then up you go, feeling very secure with the extra handle height. They arrived well wrapped and very quickly. The little catch does feel flimsy but they hold firm and that is what matters the most. Highly recommend them.

A very Good product, that is easy to move around and sturdy. This item also can be put away without taking too much of space.
Would recommend as a good buy.

A little heavier than the aluminium ones but sturdy and safe. I like the fact they have a proper tread for your full foot rather than balancing on the balls of your feet.

Excellent product, good study stepladders, well made and well worth the price (paid £16.75 inc free postage). Nice white finish rather than aluminium, in case anyone doesn't spot that in the photos. A little bit heavier than I expected for some reason (approx 6kg) but no complaints there as they feel very safe and sturdy to stand on, with nice wide rubberised treads.

After 3 years of use still in perfect condition. Ladder folds easily for storage. Pleased to have bought one with 3 steps rather than the standard 2, to get to hard to reach places. Feels sturdy and safe. A bargain for twenty quid.

The 'Heavy' in heavy-duty is right. Its quite a bit heavier than its aluminium counterparts but its still easy to carry around. It folds very flat so will not take up much space in a cupboard. The word stool appears in some of the adds but many people would find it a big squeeze to sit on the top step. Very good value for the money.

really pleased stepladder is exactly as described sturdy and safe as a woman of 5'2" I can now reach my high cupboards and the top of the wardrobes without a wobble, the safety bar at the top to hold on to is a real bonus would certainly recommend these and they fold away for easy storage

Good sturdy set of steps primarily for indoor use. I wanted the as they are very compact for storage but high enough to do most of the jobs inside the house. Saves me getting put on the naughty stair for making a mess when bringing the outdoor steps In from the garage
