Is a very child friendly app and my daughter loves all the characters and the games they play. This is suitable for a range of ages. My daughter is 18 months old and can just about manage to play with my help, and my nephew is 3 and a half and he loves it too. My only criticism is the 'back' button. It's very big on the page and if she taps it accidentally, the game finishes which is quite frustrating. Also in Binky's hide and seek game the 'back' button is the same size as the buttons used in the game and sometimes presses it by mistake and then she loses the game. This app could be improved by having the 'back' button a double-click function. That way adults could exit it easily but if a child accidentally presses it, she won't lose her game. Otherwise is a very good app, very child friendly and well thought out.
This app is marketed as child friendly, but this is only partially correct. While it is true that there are no ads, the back button which exits the game is big and prominent and invites little fingers to press it. This means that games are frequently exited by mistake when the child presses it. If this button could be made smaller, semi transparent or dull and needing a double click or exiting required two buttons to be pressed simultaneously this would solve this flaw. Also on my tablet the home and back buttons are at the bottom of the screen and are not disabled by the game. This is a particular problem when playing Coco's game as that is where the instruments are so the child often accidentally presses one of those and finds themselves on the tablet's home screen, again this is very irritating. It is such a pity that an app which markets itself as child-friendly wasn't tested by an actual child before being published.
The games themselves are mostly good, except the Blossom game which is pretty pointless and not much fun because the timing is too precise for the little ones to have any success (even adults struggle!), Blossom keeps falling down and really it's pretty boring. Also the "jigsaw puzzles" are not puzzles at all but just a story, again disappointing. Make the Blossom game into an actual jigsaw puzzle and the story part into a story board and this would be a great improvement. All the other games are good, the favourites being Binky's Hide and Seek and Coco's Music.
