I feel like the authors of this book did a fair share of research but somehow the book barely has any coherent structure and it randomly feels the need to fluctuate between topics. Very poor demonstrations of the finance curse, mostly because he jumps around too much in his examples. The book would have benefited from a more coherent structure.
A Sharp incisive appraisal of what ails us economically at home but also how it applies globally. I hope Nicholas Shaxson continues to shine in the dark and murky corners of domestic and global banking and finance.
