Ok so this story is getting right into their relationship, but I have a feeling things are about to get complicated. I love Blake and Erin, they're a cute couple even though their relationship is still a secret. They are hot together and the love scenes are descriptive. We have lots of angst, but the story is beautiful, I enjoy how Erin only sees Blake as beautiful regardless of his scars. The writing is so beautifully written, it's almost poetic. I can't wait for the rest of the series.

This is the sequel to 'Beauty Touched the Beast' and the story continues almost straight after the events of the last book.
Erin and Blake have been together for two weeks and are totally consumed by each other. It is so nice to see the pair happy together especially damaged hero Blake.
This story shows Blake trying to incorporate himself back into society after isolating himself after the accident which scarred his face. The pair are deeply in love, but hold themselves back from fully committing which results in insecurities and jealousy.
My heart really goes out to Blake. His self loathing makes him twist conversations and automatically assume the worst. He doesn't believe himself worthy and refers to himself as a monster.
Erin is a great woman, she loves Blake completely and won't let him dwell on the way he looks. She comforts him and is determined to help him start living free from his demons. However Erin is plague by her own insecurities. She feel inferior due to her job and lack of money and also has suffered badly at the hands of a previous boyfriend so carries those issues with her.
This is a quick read but longer than the previous. The characters were more fleshed out now so I felt the connection a lot more. The writing was good and the sex was intense and steamy. I can't wait to read the next instalment out next June
