I have been using this for more than 7 months. There is a malfunction in the water metre, but things like this happen to machines, and I understand. So, this is not the reason why I give a 2 star to it.
The main reason is, I suspect that they have never used a lightly roasted arabica beans for testing the grinder before putting it into production. I buy fresh lightly roasted speciality grade coffee beans, and if anyone has some common sense in coffee will know, these beans are packed with flavour, but have less oil due to a lighter roast.
A relatively finer grind is needed, which in this machine, I must turn the grinder to the absolute finest to get the right pressure for almost every single types of lightly roasted bean I bought. And for a few types of coffee beans, I and still getting an under-extraction, as the grind size can never go finer.
If anyone from Sage see this comment, please explain what is happening.
And for any other people who are using this machine, please could you let me know if you have the same problem.
