This takes me back to my teenage years when 45rpm records were all the rage. This album contains tunes I well remembered along with others. Back then it was very common for many singer/labels to produce cover versions of current songs so there are some track that I remeber that were sung by another artist. Great value for money though!

HALL OF FAMETOP 50 REVIEWERVINE VOICEon 19 April 2013
Poison Ivy Gems From The ACTO Vaults 1959-1962 is a 3 CD set containg 60 Original Recordings over 3CDs.

The tracks are `Public Domain' now being over 50 years old making this set an absolute bargain.

The great thing about this selection is that if you come across a track you don't like another one you do will soon come along!

But the listing on Amazon is not very clear so this could help

hi there, this 3 Cd complilation is every thing you'd expect from a 50- 60s music of the time great artist some i'd never heard of but it is from american bill board charts. So they might be some songs on these CDs you'll be hearing for the 1st time. but all in all it's the era I'm intrested in. So youg folk out there here's a chance to listen to the music your Dad/mum/ grandparents used to dance tooso why not give it a try you might like it

out of the 60 tracks here I am only familiar with 20.
this is a great way to find out what I have been missing.
in many cases great music sometimes painful listening.
well worth buying to expand your horizons.
my mother ivy always hated that song!
