Oh yes, this is an essential purchase for soul music fans. Mainly for the few tracks produced by the maestro Thom Bell.

The album and the singles released escaped the notice of many buyers at the time, but there's some wonderfully emotional music here, driven by Antony's well-judged vocals and Bell's superb full and warm arrangements. Even "La La La" with it's schmaltzy lyrics hits home, thanks to the fine performance. The tracks produced and co-written by Teddy Randazzo, Antony's longtime collaborator, are worthwhile, especially Easier Said Than Done.

The group's second Avco album, never released in the USA and UK, at long last makes an appearance but, to be honest, falls below the high standard of its predecessor, though its has some very good moments with highlights like the single, Hold On and the slow ballad, You Are (The World).

But it's the Thom Bell contributions, like I'm Falling In Love With You and I Don't Have Time To Worry, you will return to.
Shame the label couldn't have added the group's one other Thom Bell release (for UA), Help Me Find A Way, but can't complain too much!
