With this book the author attempts to tackle the problem of overcoming built up anger, allowing one to truly forgive and move on. The book provides a method for helping you to forgive anyone for anything and what's more at anytime by using a clever system that the author has devised. This `system' is very simple and all you need to apply the techniques is contained within the book. Basically it requires you to copy out and refer to some `interrupts' that force you to properly evaluate any potential anger situation rather than just rely on your own internal preconceptions to determine instantly that the other person is without question at fault. All you have to do is make sure that you actually put it the methods in to action. Unfortunately the onus is on you and you alone but after reading through the book it would certainly seem that if you were to start to apply his methods straight away, instead of just putting the book down and saying you'll refer to it later, that you could be well on your way to overcoming your deep seated anger even if it has been festering for years. A very interesting read and apparently Dr Ormon has been helping people to overcome stress and anxiety problems for over 30 years so sounds like it may be worth a try - food for thought anyway.
If you're angry with someone, and it happens, then no great damage is done if you can deal with it quickly. If you are unable to let go of your anger then you will not be able to more forward in life. Letting your anger for a real or imagined slight go unchecked can ruin your life. If you want to experience life you have to keep moving forward, if you cannot let go of your anger then you will remain stuck in the past.
This is an extremely well written book. It's very easy to follow and the material inside is thought provoking. it looks at emotions, anger and how to deal with anger. if you have problems moving on then I think that this book can help you and I highly recommend it.
The book deals with forgiveness at its root cause and gives a solid strategy that will empower you forever. The strategy can be used in any situation where you are holding onto unforgiving feelings and will quickly change your thoughts. A great self help book.
