strange and unusual story - very difficult to grade (5* for 1st 2 thirds, 2* for final third). very well developed and characterised - i think even of special interest to those employed in the care sector, very plausable reactions, feelings well understood, yup was enjoying thoroughly until toward the end. i found it rushed, far fetched (i know it's fiction, but..)and everything was just too 'handy', the way it transpired. pity, really, as had initially deemed it a good start to a series, but given the ending, not likely.
I enjoyed this book, it was probably one of the first kindle books I got for free. Ok, that said... people have said it has a few grammar mistakes or whatever but the story itself is really very good... (hence 4 stars). I like the way matthew has created these people in his story and their particular type of problems are not what you'd expect, quite touching in some respects as one can sympathise with their plight. Do yourself a favour and look beyond a few typos and you'll have yourself an interesting read.
