I,'ve been reading this series of books at bedtime to my 7 year old boy,who seems to enjoy the stories despite the title being very misleading the stories revolve around Chase Cooper and is ordeals and awkwardness of starting a new school . The first book revolved around a Ninja clan in the school which Chase ends up being the leader of in the first book but the subsequent books including this one just focus on routine teen type angst stuff, it's kind of emo I.m not sure if it's for boys I find reading these books pretty tedious, and feel it's bad children's writing I thought that calling the books diary of a Ninja there would be more use of the ninja angle but it seems that the author got bored of the concept by the first book found it to be a useful selling strapline but couldn't be bothered to develop the idea, and was more interested in churning out poor dialogue not sure what the audience is for these books if I was a young male reader I don't think I would have read more than one.

My daughter is 11 and has LOVED these books. She's gone on to read them all and has got a Kindle of her own specifically to read the whole series.

Great follow-up in series if you have already read previous books in series. I must say the villain has a really smart plan in it.

I would reckomend this book for 8-10 years old.
I loved this book because you didn't know what happen next in the story and you thought something was going to happen but then it didn't.

Diary of a 6th grade Ninja 4: A game of Chase.
I think it was good because the characters are very good at doing things like solving problems and they are very nice.
