These work really well with a Varilight dimmer switch designed to accommodate LEDs. I have installed them in the bathroom and work in conjunction with a time delay extractor fan. This causes a tiny but discernible delay in the lights achieving full brightness when initially switched on, thereafter everything works perfectly. So very happy with the outcome. The light is a considerably softer than the bright white LEDs which I have in the kitchen.
A fair enough light bulb that does its job, but two have now failed in two years. They are on a lot: I'd say an average of 5 hours per day, but I don't think this could be reasonably described as "long life". Why do people write "definately"?
