This is an excellent book on parenting. Even if your children are not home schooled, the practical situations and advice about patience and listening are very valuable. Unschooling is more of a way of being than a prescriptive set of rules and the writer captures the individuality of each family's situation. It's very down to earth, and non judgmental, and should inspire people to give unschooling a go. The journey starts here!

This is a well written book which offers inspiration to any parent feeling uncomfortable or unconnected in their parenting, whether unschooling or not. It provides a fresh perspective on how to approach learning as a family by focusing on curiosity, patience, relationship and trust and has helped me to look at many anxieties I have been holding about parenting
