The Fabriclive I've been waiting for since Commix
on 18 March 2013
There is a movement in Drum & Bass that puts the noisy jump up DJs and producers to shame, and on this album Calibre demonstrates how much better the genre can be beyond loud MCs chatting noisy rubbish and show people that there is true musical talent in the genre and that it needs to be appreciated.
Calibre has been producing beautiful music for years now and on this album it all comes together perfectly and he demonstrates a brilliant taste in the other tracks on the album. Containing great tracks by Zero T, Marcus Intalex and Lynx it all mixes together very well and is one of the most enjoyable mix albums I’ve heard since fabriclive.44, which I believe is the other definitive album of the genre and is also worth purchasing.
I would recommend this album to several types of people, those who love the artists who are on this album as it is a perfect example of their work, to any DnB heads who haven’t yet found out the magic that Calibre creates and to anyone who simply enjoys an album with a beautiful flow of soothing and amazing music with real soul behind it.
