The blurb on the back of the book makes it seem like another emotion filled typical chick lit book perfect for reading on the beach. It isn't. It is filled with emotion but it isn't the light fluffy book that is expected. The death of Olive, a girl who Martha hardly knew, causes Martha's world to shatter. It makes Martha realise how fragile life is, and causes her to want to change things. This book is touching but it could be more touching. The ideas this book conveys are intelligent but are not developed and expressed to the amount they could and should be. Despite this it is still a good, fast, enjoyable read with a few ideas which you will be left pondering over.
