Brilliant book from the Superstar Brownlee Boys!

Both of the boys are very humble on their fantastic achievements in the world of Triathlon. The stories they tell about their adventures as kids - I can only imagine what other adventures they got up to that they couldn't put in the book!!

As a father now myself - and struggling triathlete - I will make sure that my kids will have every opportunity that the Brownlee Boys have been given by their parents - best thing ever - love the outdoors - look where it can take you!!!

Also, like Jonny, I have a Big Bro myself - I fully appreciate and sympathise with Jonny with his stories about what his Big Brother has done to him and made him do over the years!!!! (don't worry Jonny - you will get your revenge!...some day soon...)

I'm sure this won't be the only book the boys pen - lots more to come - and a lot more medals and wins too - I hope!!

Brilliant boys - Great book - highly recommended.

Interesting overview of their life and sporting history.
An insight into their training and the influences that made them who and what they are to date.
Covers: training tips, personal attitudes, points of view, as well as emotions experienced in pursuit of their sport, both pre- and post competition.
Also how being brothers has helped their performance.

Found it difficult to put this book down once I started reading it. Inspiring story of two normal guys journey to ultimate glory at the London Olympic. The book is a wonderful read and has a great flow to it right from there early years to the present day. There are lots of fantastic tales they tell of epic training camps they went on or crazy long bike rides they endured as kids. One thing is for sure it wasn't a easy road they took but it paid off last summer. I have now passed it on to one of my swim buddies and he is glued also !!!

While the technical material concerning training is of interest to those, like me, who had pretensions to being an athlete, the unique contribution of this book is the light it sheds on the relationship between the two brothers. The device of letting each one tell his version of an event or period of time works really well. A great read

The book is brilliant gives you an insight into the dedication and enless hours of training these brothers have given to the sport. The way the book is split between the 2 of them works well as they both comment and give there account of the situation at the time.

My son bought this for me for fathers day and what a great gift, I thoroughly enjoyed every page, plenty of humour and a great account of their preparation and rivalry up to the Olympic, I would recommend this book

Can't work out if the Brownlees are superhuman or just insane. Pretty sure Jonny is planning to murder Alistair at some stage. A great read that will inspire you to go out for a run/ cycle or swim.

A real insight and understanding of the brothers campaign to become champions.

Proof that two regular people can achieve champion status by doing the sport they love.
