Vehicle for Jack Whitehall along with Bad Education where he again plays a posh boy ie himself .....in this one he is not so nice as Alfi in bad education but his character in this has a sensitive side too when he is not be the sort of public school prat we have all met at university. his character is supposed to be like this as a send up but is also genuinely funny too. But its the tension and quick witted dialogue between characters and the well observed aspects of uni life by the writers of Peep Show that are so good along with some genuinely moving moments ... Sadly the third series where the gang are all in the second year ..now seems to have started to run out of steam ! but this is excellent well worth watching there are cameos of a certain person from Peepshow as a sad nerd of a geology lecturer. Clearly the students rarely seem to get down to any work. Compared to other campus comedies this doesn't compare with the groundbreaking 80s alternative comedy The Young Ones, or the 1990s A very peculiar practice (Peter Davison) but its great fun and there are some genuine laugh out loud moments. Go buy it ... You wont regret it !

A marvellous set up with each series representing a term in the life of the household.
Worth watching a real "shaken up bag of people spilt on the floor & told to house-share, rubbing along in a genial manner with plenty of excellent humour along the way, the house is a pit, almost filthy rich & catflap proportions, characters well written & played out..

If you've not seen this give it 3 episodes (my general rule) for both it & you to grow familiar, it shouldn't disappoint.

Good humour, sterling performances all round of both hateable / likeable character mix.

This series is one of my new favourites. As the series develops you really do care for the characters and it's not just about the comedy. Everyone sees a little bit of themselves in these characters, or especially someone they know! Makes me miss my student days. JP is probably my favourite, simply because Jack Whitehall nails the role so well. Just watched series 3 and looking forward to series 5!

This show reminds me so much of some of the terrible houses I had to live in with my mates during university. Real day to day honest humor that had me in hysterics

The writers of peep Show have certainly not tarnished their records with this brilliantly funny sitcom. I'd recommend to anyone who is a fan of Peep Show, The Inbetweeners or Jack Whitehall's stand-up.

Having been a student in Manchester myself this series brings back lots of memories and even though, as you expect from a TV-show, things are exaggerated its still shows quite a representative story of how it is being a student in England.
