Been using this regularly. Wanted something extra for Lent and this study fitted the bill. Will keep as a reference

A good book to keep on your shelf, especially if you are a preacher. Nice small bits for each day

Tom Wright's books are always good value. Here there is the added value of his own translation of the section of text used for each day's reading plus his interesting and helpful commentary written in such a way that his deep scholarship becomes available to everyone. His comments are far from remaining "theoretical" as he makes the challenge of the gospel very real, especially in the thoughts and prayer which ends each day's reading.

It was a good book. I found that the commentary was a little short. This is compared to the full length books in this series. The book is more a daily bible read book, with thoughts for today and what would you do or think questions at the end of readings. The main everyone series do not carry these, which does set this Lenton book apart from the full Luke for everyone book. Which is good.

Tom Wright feels like a friend. He is wonderful spiritual guide. His commentaries make Bible passages so accessible and everything he says is solidly 'down to earth;' He makes it plain the Bible is relevant to ordinary life. and yet helps readers find deeper things to think about. I recommend Tom Wright to any friends asking how to get more out of Bible reading.

I already have Lent for Everyone year A and year B, both were really good to use as a personal study for Lent, and so I am now using Luke year C.
I have purchased other ' For Everyone books' by Tom Wright and find them helpful and easy to understand.

I used this book to lead a Lent Course in my church. The participants all enjoyed it and commented on how much they appreciated the writing style which brought the events of the Gospel alive and made them relevant and relatable to today's life.

Its got something for everyone during Lent, I particularly like the idea of sharing the daily readings with a diverse audience as described in Tom Wright's introduction. Chapters are short and manageable.

I like Tom Wright's style of writing - and this is an excellent example. The daily sections are shorter than in many of his other books, but they get straight to the heart of the text he is writing about.

I am enjoying this book. Each daily 'chunk' is manageable and written in an easily understood manner. Opportunities for meditation.
