This lovely story comes straight from the heart and is quite informative for any girl who wants to find out more about the way she is, or would like to be. I found it easy to read and it really feels just like reading a novel, as the story slowly unfolds from the beginning, explaining each and every stage. An excellent attempt, one that you must read.

As a fellow writer I tend to read everything with a critical eye, whether it is with regard to the plot, characterisation, imagery, grammar, or style. Why is that relevant? The market is becoming flooded with these stories, and they are all very different, but this one made a pleasant change. There is a hint at fetishism throughout which I think made it sound much more plausible.
The worst cases of this genre is the sexual gratification type. Usually, they have no actual plot or logical path, they are full of typos, bad grammar and lots of fantasy and guesswork - oh yes, and let’s not forget the page after page of detailed sexual activity, which is usually only there to provide a buzz for those who check these stories out - because they need to use somebody else’s imagination ...
I’ve written erotic short stories, which are strong and graphic, which is my intention, but they are essentially stories, so they have a plot. I normally write thrillers, but my intention is to write an erotic novel and to that end, I have read about ten of the erotic genre.
This is the first of this genre that I’ve felt moved to review and praise, because there is a natural voice throughout, but possibly more importantly, there are peaks and troughs in the character’s journey. I’m pretty certain that this is fiction based on fact, and that Caitlin is a pseudonym. It makes the story no less readable. There are one or two typos, but they occurred towards the end, so didn’t detract from my enjoyment.
Whether you’re new to reading this type of story, or you’re a seasoned veteran and want something to provide a bit of teasing and titillation; I recommend this tale. It doesn’t matter if it’s based on truth or it is simply vivid imagination, because it is entertaining.

I picked this up after reading previous reviews and it was very good, it was nicely paced and the erotic parts weren't too pushy, they didn't overstay their welcome and they weren't the sole focus of this story like a lot of others. I don't know if the author drew on real life experiences for this but it felt like a real accounting of someone's transition.
