Teamwork is book four in the Hot Ice series, and my favourite so far. It tells the story of Welsh nurse Fiona, who ends up treating hockey player Raven for injuries he got while playing. She knows nothing about the sport, but does know that Raven is possibly the surliest patient she's ever had. The only saving grace is that his friend and teammate, Todd is sexy and much more pleasant. So pleasant, in fact, that he arranges for Fiona to go and work in Orlando for a few weeks in order to get Raven back to peak fitness. She jumps at the chance, especially since there's a conference in Miami that she never thought she'd be able to get to. But because Orlando is much closer to Miami than Wales, she's really getting a good deal.
Once in Orlando, Fiona's delighted to go out on a date with Todd, and would be even more delighted to jump into bed with him. However, when Raven confuses matters by kissing her until her head spins, she wonders how she can possibly be attracted to both men, especially when they're so different.
However, it soon becomes apparent that Raven and Todd work as efficiently off the ice as on, and when they set their minds to taking her to bed - at the same time, who is she to resist?
I gobbled Teamwork up in just a few very satisfying bites. I loved the change in setting at the beginning, and how the action was so seamless. The polar opposites of the two men really kept me interested, and when they got what they wanted - well, wow! These are amongst some of the hottest ménage scenes I've ever read - phew! I very much enjoyed the twists and turns and didn't see them coming - my very favourite kind of book. I'm really looking forward to next instalment in this series. Hot stuff, Lily Harlem!
I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.
Ooh, I do love some Viper action! These boys know how to perform both in and off the ice. In this 4th standalone book of the Hot Ice series, we're introduced to Raven and Todd. Fiona is the lucky Physio who finds herself treating the initially gruff and surly Raven. His miserable persona is offset very nicely by his team-mate and friend Todd though. Todd is everything Fiona could want in a man - seriously good looking, charming and sexy as hell. When the opportunity to travel back to Orlando as Raven's Physio presents itself, Todd is the main reason Fiona agrees. As she spends more time with Raven, it's obvious his bark is worse than his bite. Fiona is about to experience just how well these two guys 'team up' and it will definitely be an experience to remember! Yet again, Lily treats us to lots of steamy action of the M/F and M/F/M persuasion and my god, she hits the spot, over and over......
"I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review" Teamwork is book 4 in the Hot Ice Series by Lily Harlem. I got so excited when I saw the cover that it was going to be a threesome book! Well it was for a little while until two people fell in love. Raven is a stubborn man that doesn't like to show any emotion. Fiona is a special therapist that ends up helping Raven with all of his injuries. Throw in Todd "Pretty" Carty, Raven's friend and teammate and you have all the characters you will every need! This was an awesome story line by Lily. She allowed Raven to come out of his shell and fall hard for Fiona. I actually thought they would all end up together but I am glad I was wrong.
These Vipers Boys get better and better with each book!
Injured whilst playing in the UK Raven Starr (yep, that's his real name) ends up being treated by Welsh Physiotherapist Fiona.
Offered the chance of a lifetime, by Raven's team mate Todd (drop dead georgous and sexy as hell), to go back to the states to help with Raven's recuperation Fiona doesn't have to think twice. Raven is a grumpy git and doesn't seem to communicate past the odd grunt here and there - but is also worthy of being called Sex on (or with) a stick!
Fiona ends up with both guys - can she handle them both?
I have to say the ending had me going 'awwwwwww, how sweet'!!
Was kindly gifted this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Wow. The Hot Ice series just keeps getting bettet. Considering I'm reading about ice hockey players, I'm all hot and bothered under my collar.
This latest installment boasts another sexy hockey player or two and some very hot not so horizontal tango which makes it very hard to put down. There are a few hot and steamy sex scenes but they are done tastefully but still hot hot hot. Highly recommended book and series
