Nice and simple to install and a great function to have. The sensor is simple to wire, all you need to do is place in the feed (after you swtich) and the device has a N, L (feed) and LOAD (to your lights) and that is.

The sensor is coming on about 6pm and gos off at about 7:30 at the moment, unlike some more expensive versions there is no timer aspact to limt the time on

One reason for the lack of 5 stars is you need a sealing grommit thats not included, as its designed for amoured cable, so be prepared for that depends if you want to cover the wires or not

Works great! Saves you a small fortune on lighting! I used this instead of paying 2x as much for my lights (to have built in sensors). This plus LED lamps makes for a super efficient lighting system and automates the drive way and garden lights. Simple to install. How long it lasts is now to be seen.

These are brill - very good piece of kit - much more reliable than a built in sensor - I've bought three for differing jobs and they're great. Not too difficult to wire just take your time and make sure you have turned the top (gently - it may snap if you're too rough with it!)

Rubbish, died after a few weeks. Apparently it struggles to switch LED flood lamps. Well get with the times guys, it's not exactly unheard of to have a setup with just LED flood lights these days and this is not much use if it doesn't work with them.

I was replacing one that had stopped working, this was a super quick fix, I just took the white bit off and plugged it into the one I already had fitted, clearly its the white bit that stops working. 30 second job. Love it and it cost £7.50 odd to fix, great.

Goods received before date promised and were as described. The item was satisfactory for the purpose and was relatively straightforward to instal. It is now working satisfactorily.

Good piece of kit. This Photocell Light Switch is really good. I would recommend it to anybody who needs an automatic light to cover a certain area

Bought as a replacement when the previous control head expired after 5 years, so a simple swap only was needed. Note that you need 4 core cable to wire in from scratch as you need to take a separate neutral to and from the sensor.
