Not gel, but works nonetheless.
on 9 September 2013
If you're expecting a 'gel' case, look elsewhere. The case is made of solid, although slightly flexible, plastic, with a slight honeycomb design on the inside of the back meaning it compresses a small amount on impact with a hard surface.
The case is snug and has holes for all speakers, cameras, data connections, etc. When taking photos in dark environments with the flash on, the case does reflect some of the flash, meaning it has to be removed to use the flash.
The case has seams down the edges where the moulding has clearly been done cheaply. However, I am not bothered by this.
After around a month of use the case starts blackening around the prominent edges where it's come into contact with pockets and other surfaces. However, structurally the case is sound and shows no sign of breaking.
Generally good, although not exactly what it is advertised to be. I would recommend for the price, although bear in mind it's not so cheap when you add on P&P.
