Every home should have one!

I've had my accurist watch for years and it keeps perfect time. It has lost a couple of spring pins over that time and I've shelled out at Timpsons repairs to have new ones fitted. Silly me!
It is quite straightforward to get new spring pins here on Amazon and this tool and do it yourself much more cheaply.
One side of the pin is springy and the other fixed. Push the fixed part into one side and use the forked shaped end of this tool to compress the pin enough to get it lined up inside the closure plates. Let go and there you have it. Job done.
Yes, it is a fiddly job and yes, you will definitely need your specs on. It will take a few attempts to get the feel for it but it's not difficult. Lay the watch face down and you will find it easier, then remove and replace one side at a time so you don't get in a muddle.
This tool also removed my old pins very easily even though the strap was tightly budged up to the metal.
