Creepier than any 'horror' novel...
on 2 November 2016
A brilliant book offering multiple real life stories of true cases, chapter by chapter it introduces the reader to the many different types of stalker; from the male to the female, the chillingly calm to the manically persistent. In this modern day and age, many of us seem to see stalkers as a phenomenon of the celebrity world, but Polly Clarkson illustrates in technicolor clarity how even the most average person can be an unwitting victim. The style of writing is simple and fluid, making for a quick, easy and comfortable read.
I didn't feel that the book offered me a major 'insight' into the thought processes of a stalker, however I did feel that it does beautifully demonstrate the many ways these characters differ and the seemingly innocent way they can cross our paths and change our lives forever.
