a short but sweet tale
on 2 August 2013
I had this on my kindle and had not read it, however after finishing Vivien's Heavenly Ice Cream Shop I decided to give it a go.
This is a short story, but the story line was quite good. It is based in a village and every year the villagers enter a baking completion. There are many characters in the story, they are all linked in one way or another.
This year there is a famous judge on the panel and one of the competitors in particular wants to win, Katie she owns her own shop and wants to work alongside Joe the famous judge on his t.v program.
Unfortunately not everything goes to plan and disaster strikes, can everything be solved? And a winner announced?
I enjoyed the the story, I only think that it ended quite suddenly. I particularly likes the free receipes at the end, I am going to look forward to trying these out nearer Christmas.
After all this was free and to be honest I don't see hoe you can complain when I story is free. It's a light hearted, entertaining read.
