This is the only dog help book you need!! - I have collected a library of books to help me with my two ex-breeder puppy farm dogs, but non address the problems as simply and as kindly as Lisa Tenzin-Dolma ..... You should read her book Charlie, the Dog Who Came In from the Wild - she is a wonderful, super caring lady & founder of the International Institute for Canine Psychology and Behaviour.
A wonderful book, describing our most loyal of animals - the dog. What this book does is show how fascinating and adaptable they are and what a truly wonderful relationship we can have with them, if only we approach training in a kind, compassionate way. This book is essential reading for new and experienced dog owners alike.
A book for all dog lovers whether you have alot of training knowledge or little experience, it's a must. Easy to read and dip into as you need to. It would be great for anyone considering adopting or fostering a dog too and also makes a fantastic gift as it's got an appealing cover!
I enjoyed this book and having just taken on two rescue whippets as a foster mum I wish I had had it earlier. Sensible, thoughtful, compassionate. A book I have taken to heart to help me in my relationships with dogs.
