One for everyone, those DFVs never sounded so good.

1976 was the first F1 season I can remember, I was spolit because there have been so few years like it, only the Prost, Senna, Mansell years come close. This flim is a massive tribute to two great drivers for their very different reasons. Cracking cinematography, awesome acting and script too. It plays a little fast and loose with history but in a way that acknowledges these two Goliaths of the sport and the sport itself.
James Hunt, a great driver, all heart and brilliantly played. I deeply miss his commentary and I remember his awesome drive in the Japanese Grand Prix. Lauda, dry, laconic, an awesome talent, a true professional and lovingly played with a great performance. I am a petrolhead, my wife isn't and she really enjoyed this film. One to watch again and again, kudos to Ron Howard's thrilling direction too... a brilliant film, it nails the era, the personalities, the cars and the sport. Easily the best F1 film out there.
