This is an ok bath mat, it has a nice bright design that my son seems to enjoy. There are only a few suction cups away from the edge and none at all over the centre of the mat (so it doesn't mess up the whale picture I suppose) which means it has a tendency to float upward in the water and I feel like it's less secure because of this.
I would advise to check the length of the mat before you buy, I wish I had. We have a smaller then average bath and it still only covers 2/3 of it, leaving an exposed, very slippery and potentially dangerous area. This is probably less of an issue if your baby is quite small but mine likes to roam around the bath, crawling and toddling around the edge - hence the need for a non-slip mat!
We found the temperature guide next to useless, it seems to be far too sensitive. When the slightest warmth is in the water the whale's fin instantly changes and tells me the bath is "too hot" when common sense tells you it's still cold! We have another thermometer we use and wouldn't solely rely on this for that purpose (not that most parents probably would!).
Overall, pretty average. Feel like Fisher Price have focused more on the design of the mat rather than it's practical use.
