It’s a diddy book, pretty. Easily readable in under an hour as it’s only 130 pages and each page of Quatrains is only six or so short sentences.
I read it at three am one night when I couldn’t sleep.
A short intro of about six or seven pages explaining who Rumi was and why he wrote poetry; worth reading.
After that there’s 120 pages of poems (quatrains) all short and often with Arabic calligraphy. (See pic)
I didn’t like them. They’re a bit pointless most of them and I think they rely a lot on the reader being pious to connect you to the topic.
