Now this is interesting but first let me fill you in on some notable events that took place in March 1964: The first Ford Mustang rolls off the assembly line, The first pirate radio station, Radio Caroline launches with Tony Blackburn spinning the discs, Madame Tussauds in London unveil their waxworks of The Beatles, Mods & Rockers hit the news following clashes on Brighton Beach, You Only Live Twice is published in London and is the last Bond novel to be published in the author's (Ian Fleming) lifetime, Brendan Behan dies, John Lennon's first book 'In His Own Write' is published, The UK government announce they will build a new town in England, to be called Milton Keynes, American Geraldine Jerrie Mock becomes the first woman to fly solo around the world, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor marry for the first time, and to get to my point Pete Drake and his Talking Steel Guitar enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No 25 with 'Forever' which now extremely scarce and hard to find at anything like a reasonable price. This compilation actually contains Pete Drake's Forever and that is why I bought it, it fills a missing link in my music collection.

Quite simply so subtle it hurts. Too often albums are fired together with a list of must have types of tracks but this compilation seems not to try. Great stuff.

I've only heard one Metronomy track but I love these mixes - downtempo, chill-out, whatever it's called these days, but eclectic enough to keep you interested. This is a great mix and if you buy it on download you get the full mix PLUS all the individual songs (full-length) - good for the ipod shuffle!

I love Metronomy and the Late Night Tales albums, I'm just not too sure about this combination. Buy 'Nights Out' instead, and that's far superior to the Mercury Music Prize Award Winning 'The English Rivera' - although that is still a 4 Star listen.

My favourite Late Night Tales Album is the Zero 7 one released a few years back - that's definitely a 5 Starer!

This album is awful muck, love Metronomy's other albums but don't know what this is, there's no flow to it and at least half the songs are painful to listen to, the last song is an 8 minute poem, terrible s***e altogether. Offensive to the ears!
