Trap music producers TNGHT come storming out of the gates with their debut EP.
Throughout these 5 tracks you are going to a ton of interesting and strange sounds for example the incredible vocal sample on the track "Higher Ground", the baby laughter on the track "Bugg'n" straight afterwards, ultimately what this achieves is a sense of personality and uniqueness amongst the somewhat samey sounds used in Trap music and Hip Hop Instrumentals, that's not to say this isn't for folk who enjoy Hip-Hop and Trap, it certainly still caters to those people too with it's incredibly hard hitting and well produced bass hits along with super catchy synth melodies.
Every single track on this EP brings something to the table, they are all packed with great production, silly sound effects as stated previously and they all have several movements and phases along with significant changes throughout the track.
I personally think this EP is also the perfect length for what it is, I believe TNGHT understand that what they do on this EP is fairly samey and thus keep it at 15 minutes and just concentrating on making those 15 minutes and absolute blast to listen to. For sure this EP has it's flaws but they are all drowned out by ridiculous amount of fun I am having when I am listening to it.
Ultimately TNGHT have really set the bar for this style of music, it isn't reinventing the wheel by any means but it does exactly what it says on the tin, it shows up, brings the ruckus and leaves.
Usual thing, TV ad comes on (betfair, 'Ready? 2016), catchy tune on it, gotta find out what it is. No surprise Hudson Mohawke''s involved!! So this EP comes up with the ad tune 'Higher Ground' on it. The decision was whether to download the one tune or take all 5?..... If you like bonkers electro and heavy beats you have to try this!!! Mindbending, insanely addictive sounds. You need this.... @TNGHT @Hudmo @Lunice
