Excellent blues from three of the greatest female blues singers and guitarists around today.

I always look forward to a new release on Ruf,because this label is doing more than any other to keep the blues alive. You get a 12 track CD and 15 track DVD, which represents superb value for money. The music is low-down dirty blues rock from 3 very accomplished musicians. There's something for everyone , from the rocky opening track, Bitch, to the slow Mississippi blues of "Down in the Swamp", with every colour of the spectrum in between. It's often said that blues music is depressing.Watch this DVD and I guarantee you will NOT be depressed. Can't wait for their next tour. Highly recommended.

I am impressed with this CD. You should get the CD/DVD package to appreciate Sam Fish and Dani Wilde's skills in full, but laready on the CD this comes out as a formidable group, and a totally enjoyable live album. If you like blues rock, this is of the highest caliber and I recommend to buy this right now. WHile you re at it also get Dani WIlde's (esp. the 3rd one) and Sam Fish's CDs. THese girls can play, sing, and they are not too bad looking either (;-) so ... GET IT!

I bought this having been impressed with Ruf records outout, and enjoying the likes of Popovic, Shaw Taylor and Foley.
What a great trio!
Victoria Smith provides great bass.
Dani Wilde and Samantha Fish shine with both guitar prowess and vocals.
All bloody good tracks. Stand out? Fish with Leaving Kind.
But not much to choose between any track.
Thoroughly recommended!

A pleasing CD/DVD set - the girls obviously enjoyed themselves a lot in the live concert, as did the audience. Not something that I'd listen to very day but, for a spirit lifter I'll put the CD on, for a chuckle and feel good moment it's the "Extras" section of the DVD and a semi blushing Dani Wilde explaining some song-writing stimulus :)

Outstanding. Dani and Samantha are fantastic guitar players and they can sing too. Victoria Smith on bass and the bloke on drums are brilliant as-well. Having been forced to listen to the UK top forty singles on the radio while at work today - I started thinking that good music had become a thing of the past. Fortunately it isn't, it's alive and well if you know where to look!

samantha fish is one of the greatest blues guitarists to come on the music scene lately. she just seems to hit the right notes that hook you. someday she is going to rank among the greatest guitarists around right beside clapton and stevie ray vaughan. she is that good

A well recorded live cd/dvd featuring the American blues of Samantha Fish and the more r&b styl of Dani Wilde. Both share vocal and lead guitar duties and perform sterlingly, although it does get a bit samey towards the end of the show.
