Showing my age here, but saw all three at the cinema with me dad.The Land that time Forgot is set at the beginning of the war,a german sub picks up prisoners and is over run by the prisoners only to redirect into trouble into a forgotten land!.At The Earths Core, has McClure and Peter Cushings dithering inventor tunnelling quite by accident to the centre of the earth, where theres lots of beasties to be had, with Cushing tryin to shoo off a dinowobbler with his unbrella!!Warlords of Atlantis,my fav of the three.another exploration gone wrong, with more money me thinks spent of special effects. This time we have Peter Gilmore partnering up with Dougie and fighting off Octopuss, dragons and flying nasty fish, which to this day still makes me laugh as they are quite obviously being thrown. All delicious corn,I love all three.watch and enjoy. Please note that all three movies are in a single sized dvd box and not a box set as such, but are held in ok within the case!

Three cheap and cheerful "Lost World" movies that are all a joy to watch. The easy to like Doug McClure makes a pleasing hero and like many I always treasured his performance as Trampas in the long running classic TV western The Virginian. For me my favourite is The Land That Time Forgot, a very satisfying fantasy adventure with all the right ingredients and a cast of familiar British actors. Warlords of Atlantis also hits the target with all the ingredients of the former. At The Earth's Core is the weakest, despite having the wonderful Peter Cushing, this is a very studio bound adventure not quite up to the standard of the others. This box set is a gem for fantasy fans and well worth purchasing.
