I bought this smart-looking little laptop for my daughter as a birthday present. I thought it would be absolutely right for her but serious problems were immediately apparent. First of all the keyboard did not work properly. Many keys were interconnected so if you pressed one it behaved as if you had pressed two so writing came out as gobblydegook. Secondly, the touchscreen did not work properly - it was just not sensitive enough. For some of the icons you had to keep tapping quite hard and a few did not respond at all. Huge disappointment. I wish I had believed the one review that I saw about it, but I thought they must have bought a dud one.

I bought this so i could review items for Amazon, i just wanted a small compact laptop or notebook with a keyboard but i am disappointed in the performance of the product.
This product has touchscreen and a keyboard and while this is a great idea the touchscreen is simply not sensitive and accurate enough and many is the time that iḿ desperately trying to tap a link and it opens the one below or above instead. Also, for some reason when iḿ typing, like now, the cursor seems to move to a random place and this means that i start typing on the wrong line. Perhaps i am actually touching the mouse pad without realising this, but if so this is nevertheless still an issue. The great thing about this product is just how small iit is, easy to fit into most bags. Basically though this is a glorified phone and i think i'd rather pay more for a higher performing laptop. As im writing there is a definite delay between my pressing the button and the letters appearing AND the font keeps changing as the spellcheck turns on and off randomly. BE WARNED.
The built in camera is not bad quality but the GoNote is so hard to use that this plus is not enough to buy this product.
EDIT: (using another computer as its much easier) The Gonote battery is also chronically bad. It lasts a mere hour or two before depleting!

Basically a great little netbook. Instructions not very
clear on how to do certain tasks, and Ergo Electronics not very helpful when contacted. Seems to concentrate on games and apps for "play" and not a lot for "work".
not very easy to transfer anything ONTO a memory stick, but easy to transfer anything from a memory stick.
