loved exoplanet, however, this outing seems to have something missing? some parts remind me of "cynic" others "steve vai." the riffs are still outstanding but tend to steer towards "noodling" for the sake of it and not on the hook itself. I've played it constantly for the past week or so and think its more of a lie back and absorb listen, rather than a thrash the room with your air guitar vibe. production is great but again feel that it needs more contrast, especially with the basslines and better use of harmony. still a good effort and will eagerly await their next offering.

A brave, progressive album.

I didn't really understand it to begin with; was maybe even a little bit disappointed after Exoplanet.

But this is one of those recordings where it's worth putting in 20 listens until eventually the songs make sense.
Intricate and heavy in parts, floaty and existential in others.

Singing that's rough and then semi-computerised.

Attention to detail everywhere, which are the bits that don't hit you straight away.

If you're waiting for the new Faceless album buy this immediately.
Song writing from another dimension.
