This book is free because its copyright has run out and it has entered the public domain. It is surprisingly good, with a brief and illuminating history of vegetarianism and an introduction to its value. There are many recipes, all simple and clear, with plenty of variety and plenty of straightforward ideas for the modern vegetarian. Despite its age, the quantities and methods would suit a modern family. As one would expect of such an old book, it has no illustrations. I think it is well worth a look. There is an index of recipes at the end with working links to the relevant pages.

good ideas for vegetarian cooking. I didnt have much inspiration for vegetarian food as lacking ideas. Clearly laid out and easy to understand.

The recipes in this book are simple and not expensive.Altough, there are no pictures to look at.That may be a problem for some people
