what a truly awful book- this missive about the perils awaiting to entrap unwitting christians at every corner is nothing more than sensationalist, bigoted and uneducated nonsense. do stretches in the morning? careful- that yoga will give you a one way ticket to purgatory! what nonsense
This is truly an appalling book. The writer seems to be very knowledgeable about the Bible's contents, but his knowledge of the other things he talks about is sketchy to say the least, which means that his 'advice' is seriously misleading, even for Christian fundamentalists like himself. Whether he chooses verses which confirm his prejudices, ignoring any that wouldn't, I have no idea, but it wouldn't surprise me. In his introduction he refers to anyone who doesn't absolutely believe that every word in the Bible is God's word as 'the enemy' - this hardly encourages one to believe that a reasoned argument will follow (which indeed it doesn't). And his chapter on the upbringing/disciplining of children is enough to chill the blood - clearly his knowledge of child psychology is non-existent, and I just hope (yes, to God!) that he has no children of his own. Horrible.
