This book is a concise, elegant and time-saving introduction to Boost.

One of the problems with Boost documentation is a severe lack of examples. In order to make fast progress one needs to see a good example of the usage of the library in question.

This book fills that gap. An example speaks a thousand words. I estimate that this book has saved me hours and hours of time, particularly with respect to the Spirit Library.

Buy it now, you won't regret it.

Pity I didn't realise the second edition was out. Thanks amazon! There is an online version of the 2nd edition so I wasted 30 quid!
In general it's a reasonable introduction to the most frequently used set of boost modules. It lacked the depth I needed for my project but the online boost documentation is excellent so I'd save your money and get online unless you are really new to boost.

This book is just the summary of all useful libraries in boost . It doesn't explain things in detail and let's u to search more in Internet . It could have more examples to explain api's . Still worth a buy for beginners.
