Magic Molly casts her magic once more....I am under her spell!
on 18 June 2012
I loved Magic Molly 1 and was very anxious that Book 2 was as good. It wasn't, it was actually better, and the first one was pretty great. It's a real children's story, told with guts, gumption and humour. The baddies are real baddies, snide and annoying, and the goodies are the ones you fall in love and root for.
Molly, having saved her dad in the first book, is now trying to rescue her mother. With mad security parrots, hellish posh classmates, a mad Auntie and Granny Whitewand, there is never a dull moment in this book! I love the illustrations dotted throughout the book, and the writer again weaves a masterpiece. I really rate his work and think he has some brilliant ideas. This book is a must for Potter fans, and I can't wait for Book 3!
