For starters there is the original version which surely everyone has heard by now - Lana's dulcet tones, one of the strongest tracks on her album. Most of the remaining 8 remixes are actually very good - particularly the RAC mix and the Gesaffelstein version

True to form this artist exhibits a somewhat formulaic approach of American nostalgia and realism, with the reference to James Dean as a thematic love interest shown through longing and heartbreak. She ever so resourceful in her use in stylistically presentation of retro-noir. This not just contained within the song but music video where imagery is ever present in this piece. This is a truly haunting song - that got me hooked the first time heard it.
