I am very happy with the projector so far, very bright, good picture and really easy to configure. Just recently I saw my mates projector which is an LCD 800x600 epson, I really have to say this one is so much better so it is worth spending £200 more on it and have a decent one. On that epson the screen door effect is very obvious, whereas this DLP projector produces an amazing picture.
The zoom and other settings including the projection angle are very convenient to set up and the projector comes a lens protector. On top of that, the projector is really quiet and you get a carrier bag for free.
The only criticism I would have is that the Eco mode (6000 hours) doesnt work very well cf to the normal (400hrs) mode. For some reason the image is flickering and hence I cant use it in that mode (any suggestions?).
well first thing i noticed is that it had a 2 pin power cable...HELLO?? we are in the uk ! ok so i managed to scrounge a cable out of some hole and powered the projector up..
next... hdmi 2 .. no signal? faulty ... so i change to hdmi 1 that works at least !! ok lets watch some 3d from my sky box? ok lets not , as everytime id select 3d from the menu of the projector ( even though it says auto 3d signal pick up on the box)the whole projector would crash, blue screen and id have to turn off the 3d to bring the picture back !! ok now i was pretty upset!
but it doesnt stop there, suddenly 2 bright orange led's start flashing on the front of the projector, one telling me the lamp has expired.. ummm from an hours use ??
it was at this point i could take no more... i quickly boxed it back up , rang amazon and pretty much let them know how i felt considering this was blatantly not a uk projector and it does not state this anywhere in the product listing !!
so as a couple of last words....stay away from this, unless you get a trial first ...3d is a headache to use, if it works that is! all in all pretty rubbish, even BENQ technical support agreed with me lol
