An awesome first camera for me, and there's a lot to love from the quality of video which is great during the day and respectable at night. Very small and convenient, but the menu can be laggy and tricky on the touch screen which becomes quite annoying. There's a lot to customise in the setting also. It takes fast running SD cards also (worth spending more and buying one with it) and the expandable battery you can buy separately is very good and fits neatly. 3 years on and I'm still happy with it but will buy a new one only because I'm taking videography more seriously.
Bought this for the price about 6 months ago, and don't regret it. It's great for the basics, like if you're going on holiday and want to make a decent looking home movie, or if you're working on some kind of project. Wouldn't buy if I was a more serious video-maker, such as those who make regular YouTube videos.
Still, a great little camera. Light, portable and has a really great zoom function. Videos turn out in good quality.
