Shouldn't like it..oh but I do!
23 April 2013
Having read dozens (sometimes it feels like millions) of self help books, I have to say that this was by far funniest. Kimberley manages to do this whilst also hammering home some very serious and helpful points. What's the point for example in setting goals if all you do is spend time setting goals? I got to well over a hundred myself and got a bit sad and overwhelmed. Completely useless and counterproductive. Kimberley's philosophy is very much that of JFDI and say what you see. There is a fair amount of swearing in this book (!) and somehow Kimberley manages to include the right words in all the right places without offending in the slightest. Reading this book felt like someone finally had the guts to write what everyone else was thinking and have a good laugh about it. As a wise guru once said to me, life's for living, laughing and loving not whinging whining and worrying. This book does the former in bucket loads.
