He must have been brilliant cos we're still reviewing his records

I suppose what differentiates the great Sinatra albums from the good ones is the choice of material, the production and the quality of his voice. For me I don't think Moonlight on the Ganges is quality enough song for a Sinatra swing album. Also Don't Cry Joe is more of a ballad than a swing song. Given that he was about to also record his final album for Capitol of Come Swing with Me also with Billy May it's hardly surprising that he began to run out of material. The only comment I would make on production was the crude echo effect at the end of Falling in Love with Love to assist his ability to maintain the high notes as per his Capitol days. The highlights of this album for me are Your Nobody.. , Granada (his first UK single for Reprise) and Don't be That Way where his performance was brilliant within his vocal range and would be amongst his greatest recorded Swinging tracks.
