Hallmark(Pickwick) have copied this from vinyl without any clean up system hence the sound is only just listenable. No depth and a little muffled (wooly).Wait for the remastered Cameo/Parkway release.

At the time this LP was issued in 1962 the Beatles had just made the top 20 with their first Parlophone single and both singers here would eventually cover Lennon and McCartney songs and a year later Rydell would predate the British Invasion with a song he recorded in the U K with Tony Hatch with Forget Him
Meanwhile it was business as usual for Cameo Parkway who never missed a trick even setting up the Wyncote label to cash in on the Invasion with an album of Mersey soundalikes
While the Ace label has reissued a stack of Cameo Parkway albums this is one they missed
So here it comes on the Hallmark label with the original sleeve and being sold in markets for around £3

Not as good as i remembered it but still full of nostalgia....memories of dating in the sixties.
Some good but all enjoyable.
