Basically a good piece of kit. The readings appear accurate, it's flexible and handles dual-band pricing. Couple of niggles - the screen contrast isn't brilliant, so you need decent light to read it, and the battery compartment is a bit fiddly to get shut. But overall, it's a solidly-made, capable meter.
Why did I buy this? The other one - a Taiwanese brand - I had died after a while and I hope the German branded one would last.
The photo shown is wrong. It received the EM 240 - it is white, has a "horizontal" design (which could a problem by blocking adjacent socket space), has a display which is very very hard to read. I have to put my eyes right in front of it to see.
It does work - shows voltage, frequency, current.
I have recorded slightly over 13A and the device did not fry - so that's good.
I am giving it 2 stars for the poor visibility of the digits (I have used another brand which is at least visible from 2 arms' length away) which I consider to be a deal breaker.
