Swiss Carrot Cake Replicated!

I've only made one cake from the recipes here, I will admit. However, it was the Swiss Carrot Cake.
Having lived in Switzerland for over half of my life, I've eaten and enjoyed carrot cake on many an occasion. I have been hunting on the Internet for years for a recipe to recreate the flavour, and have been unsuccessful. Until I found this book, that is. With one change, the recipe was voted by my family to be an almost exact replica of the taste.
The change I made was to substitute the almonds with ground hazelnuts. The Swiss don't use almonds in this cake. Make the change if you want to taste the real thing.
