Not recommended if you value your data. Are they fake?
on 16 December 2014
I bought four of these from Amazon. All the packets had been opened - subtly but nonetheless opened. My suspicions were therefore raised. I used all of these cards in three known to be reliable cameras over the course of a weekend, shooting intensively, and there were a number of mysterious faults. Each card was formatted in camera every time it was inserted. Images weren't written at all, one image badly corrupted, and on one card, despite having been formatted and shown to be empty before use, when downloading images later showed images from previous use. When I tried to replicate this those images had disappeared.
Needless to say I requested a refund, but prior to sending them back I was about to format them to erase all images. I intended to do this via my Mac, but was surprised to see in Disk Utility that they're actually mounting as SanDisk cards. I think we can safely say that these are fakes. Not at all recommended if you value your data.
