a good read lots of the horror of the Japanese terror and. the individual brutality they gave out. yet mostly it is forgotten the poor soldiers who went through this must have been disgusted at the lack of respect of there unrelenting torture such brave men

Interesting but an ending that was abrupt and gave no detail who the author got back to Australia

I chose this book because I like reading non-fiction war stories I wish I hadn't bothered.

It is so defragmented one has a problem to decide whether you are on another planet.
It is beyond anything I have managed to stay with for a long time I came on more than one occasion to abandonee it.
