I read the Kindle edition and found the dense and very detailed information impossible to follow without adequate maps. Maps on Kindle are generally hopeless. The maps provided in the download were useless. It was impossible to follow the movements of the various military units. The mass of detail in the book is remarkable, but I am left with a gap of 'where did it happen exactly?'.
This series is really developing well i really like the use of unusual and disperate sources which combine tactical, operational and strategic aspects in a novel and satisfying way. This is now a really great series and at £2.99 its a great price too.
really enjoyable and interesting, a subject difficult to locate on the internet or locally but this book provides everything that i wanted to know plus more. A rare and interesting journal done justice, definitely worth a buy.
