This worked fine for the video and audio signals but did not transfer "inter-component control signals" as specified under the "Technical Details" section of the description.
I replaced the UKDapper lead with one from another manufacturer and that worked correctly with the same devices. For example turning off the TV with the TV remote also turned off the home cinema sound box and the HDD video recorder without having to use the remotes for the other two boxes. This did not work with the UKDapper lead.
Since the UKDapper lead was thinner than that from the other manufacturer, I'm guessing that the description on Amazon's web site comes from the specification of a fully functional HDMI lead and the UKDapper one was only partially wired up handling just the video and audio signals.
